RETURN POLICY

Return/Reimbursement

1. In case of being a consumer, the User may exercise the right of cancellation without being demanded any compensation within 14 (fourteen) days counting from the day on which the consumer acquires physical possession of the good.
To exercise this right, the User must indicate all identification data, the date of the purchase and the product(s) intended to be returned. Communication should be made by e-mail to: geral@tapadadochaves.pt or by letter to Tapada Do Chaves Sociedade Agrícola e Comercial, Unipessoal, Lda. Frangoneiro, Apartado 170, 7301-901 PORTALEGRE, Portugal, by returning the acquired good, or by other adequate and provable means within the period defined above.
The consumer must return the goods to Tapada do Chaves in due conditions of use within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of communicating the cancellation.
The package must be returned complete, as it was delivered and accompanied by all the documentation received, namely the following documents: sale invoice and the document proving receipt of the product. The packaging and indicated documents must be sent free of charge to the address of the company’s headquarters.
If the User chooses other forms of return, the respective expenses with shipping costs will be the User’s responsibility.

2. Upon receipt of the returned good(s) at Tapada do Chaves, the amount paid for the order (amount of the sale invoice) will be returned to the User. If it was used a promotional discount code, such amount will not be refunded, that is, the reimbursement will only be for the amount actually paid.

3. The reimbursement method of the amount to be returned depends on the payment method used in the respective order. In the case of credit card payments, these are credited to the respective account. In other cases, when NIB information is provided, the reimbursement is paid to the indicated bank account. Otherwise, the refund is by bank cheque to the billing address. The reimbursement is made up to 14 days after receiving the information on the free cancellation and the receipt of the returned good.

4. In the absence of any of the components of the item sold or, if any of them are not in excellent condition, there will be no refund of the price nor payment of postage charge, and the product will be sent back to the original shipping address.

5. Tapada do Chaves does not undertake any responsibility for defects resulting from incorrect use, negligence, poor storage conditions or caused by force majeure.
